We understand your fears about coming to the dentist and have many techniques to help you overcome them. For instance, we use various distraction techniques like virtual reality television, drill less fillings, computer delivered anesthetic and yes, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and sedation for those of you who need further help to have a positive dental experience.

Emergencies

If you have a dental emergency, we will make every effort to see you the day you call. On weekends and holidays our answering service will contact one of our doctors for you.

Specialty Services

Dr. Mack and Dr. Wenzel are proud to offer a wide range of dental services you may not have been able to receive at other family dental offices including periodontal (gum), endodontic (root canals), and dento alveolar (wisdom teeth) surgery. We see and treat many children. Dr. Mack and Dr. Wenzel use a wide range of specialists for those cases they feel will benefit from referral. Additionally, Dr. Wenzel is a certified Invisalign invisible Braces (orthodontic) provider that eliminates the need for unsightly wires in selected cases.

We are honored and blessed you have visited our site! We truly believe there is a difference when it comes to caring for people. So many times people tell us “My last dentist did not listen to me!”, well, that’s where we believe caring starts. Dentistry has many treatment options of which we can discuss and select the option(s) that best fit your needs!

No stranger to Arizona, Dr. Mack moved here in 1977, completed school at A.S.U. and the University of Colorado School of Dentistry with honors and hospital residency training at the Denver V.A. Administration in 1988.

Comfortable with a wide range of specialty work, Dr. Mack routinely performs smile-makeovers, complex restorations, surgical techniques, including implants, bone & tissue grafting, wisdom teeth and placement of the most cosmetic materials the industry has available. Our facility is state-of-the-art comfortable!

Dr. Mack serves on the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners subcommittee of sedation and is an evaluator for the Dental Board. You may have seen him on Channel 3 News interviews regarding dental advancements.

Dr. Eric Wenzel Eric Wenzel, D.D.S.
Comprehensive dental treatment through preventative medicine measures, defines the dental practice of Dr. Wenzel. After graduating from Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Dr. Wenzel went on to attend Arizona State University where he received a degree in Biomedical Engineering. From there, Dr. Wenzel went on to pursue his dental training at New York University in Manhattan.

While attending NYU, Dr. Wenzel served on the judicial board that oversaw the ethical standards of the dental student body. Because of his academic excellence, Dr. Wenzel participated in an honors program where he received hospital training at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx. Upon graduating from New York University, Dr. Wenzel received an award from the American Academy of Periodontology for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics. Community service is a cornerstone in Dr. Wenzel's practice and he is currently serving the Valley's needy children as a volunteer dentist at John C. Lincoln Pediatric Dental Clinic. Dr. Wenzel is an active member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of General Dentistry. He offers a wide range of dental services including oral surgery, endodontics, Invisalign, and implants. For fun, Dr. Wenzel enjoys hiking and fishing, competing in triathlons, and looking after his new son.
